To say I am thrilled to be the OCI – Houston South President would be an understatement! This organization has meant so much to be during this turbulent times in our industry, not only for networking, but friendships, moral support, and strengthening faith in God. While I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri (and will always be a Cardinals and Blues fan!!) Houston is home now, and there is no place I would rather live. My career in oil and gas began in 2008 when I joined Baker Hughes prior to working in the defense industry. While at Baker Hughes, I held numerous roles, the most two impactful being a SME and technical sales lead for Hydrogen Sulfide scavengers, and a compliance manager for the Heavy Oil Research Team. With my background, I absolutely understand the importance of networking, especially for the small to mid-size companies. I believe its not ‘what you know but who know’ but rather ‘who knows what you know’. I see OCI as fantastic venue for small to mid-size companies to get the word out on their capabilities and make an impact in this ever changing industry. Thank you all for the warm welcome! I cannot wait to see with God has in store for us!
