Colton was raised in Lovington, New Mexico, and has lived there for most of his life. After graduating from Lovington High School, Colton attended the Art Institute of San Antonio, Texas. 

After studying advertising design at the Art Institutes, Colton worked as a graphic artist at a local print shop in Hobbs. During this time, Colton designed over 5,000 graphics for t-shirts, caps, vehicle graphics and wraps, signs, banners, and many other items.

This included supporting the oil and gas industry by creating graphics that met legal DOT requirements, could be read from appropriate distances, and helped maintain safety on location. 

Today, Colton works with industrial and oil companies across the country and helps them turn physical products into creative marketing initiatives. 

Colton joined Oilfield Connections International because he believes in fostering connections in the oil and gas industry and hopes to give back to the community.
