Chapter Leadership
Mark Gladney
Mark Gladney is a well construction specialist with over 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He started working in the oilfield running downhole tools in the Haynesville shale. He has sold tools in every major U.S. shale play and in the Gulf of Mexico. Mark earned his master’s degree in business administration (MBA) in 2016. He currently lives in the Houston Area with his amazing wife and 2 incredible sons, ages 6 and 3. He has a passion for helping people and solving problems.
I met Sarge Summers through mutual connections. I was immediately drawn to his character and his dream of giving back to the oilfield community. I joined Oilfield Connections because I wanted to be part of a oilfield community that wants to help everyone involved. Oilfield Connections helps everyone involved through guidance, networking, mentorship, and charity. Not only do we want to help others in the oil and gas industry but also we want to help everyone in the community where we live and work.

Lauren Box
“I’ve been working in Oil & Gas for about 20 years. My background is primarily in the safety market with an emphasis on safety and catalyst services. I first became involved with OC through Sarge Summers. He and I have stayed in contact over the years and have helped each other out where we could. When he spoke about the vision he had for OC, I knew I would love to be a part of this organization. I feel like OC is the perfect place to connect with my peers who offer support and encouragement. A group as strong and as large as OC is invaluable for finding out what’s happening within the Oil & Gas industry and providing new ideas for future business. I’m very excited to be working with this collaborative and knowledgeable group!
In my free time, I enjoyed spending time with my family – my husband Stephen and my two daughters Harper & Hunter. We especially love to go fishing at our bay house in Matagorda!”
