Main Job Duties
Setup tools and fixtures per each job.
Load Programs as required.
Measure parts and affect appropriate tools.
Perform basic maintenance of CNC machines.
Basic computer skill use.
Perform other tasks as instructed by bit documentation.
Follow all safety and quality policies.
Perform other shop duties as required.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
2 or more years’ experience as a machinist.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and measuring devices.
Must be able to pass a forklift operator test.
Ability to operate an acetylene and oxygen torch are a plus.
Ability to operate typical shop tooling and hoists.
Good physical ability, finger dexterity and visual acuity. Able to bend, stoop, sit, and walk. Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, and basic physical
1 Year of Welding Experience
Ability to do simple math equations
Qualities Needed for Success
Be a high energy employee that can switch tasks frequently
Attention to detail
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to fill out documentation records as needed in a timely fashion
Ability to work overtime is a plus.
Ability to work in a safe manner and obey company policies (Attendance)
