Main Job Duties
Operating Manual Machines.
Welding.
Deburring.
Ensure the personal workstation is clean and in good working order.
Perform other tasks as instructed by bit documentation.
Follow all safety and quality policies.
Perform other shop duties as required.
Use of various measuring equipment and basic mathematical concepts.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Based on skill level or at least 6 months to 1 year of experience operating manual machines, or welding with similar experience .
Ability to operate an acetylene and oxygen torch, typical shop hand tools, equipment, and hoists.
Welding Process Experience
Good physical ability, finger dexterity and visual acuity. Able to bend, stoop, sit, and walk. Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to work overtime is a plus.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, and basic physical
Must be able to understand blueprints and understand decimals
Qualities Needed for Success
Be a high energy employee that can switch tasks frequently
Attention to detail
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to fill out documentation records as needed in a timely fashion
Ability to do simple math equations
Ability to work in a safe manner and obey company’s policy (attendance)
