Kate Hornbrook, Technical Manager, Ace Completions, LLC
Kate graduated from Marietta College in 2016 with a BS in Petroleum Engineering and a minor in Chemistry. Originally an Ohio native, she moved out to the Permian Basin in September of 2018.
She began her oil and gas career with a small, private company, wearing multiple hats in engineering, lab work, technical sales and field work. Now, she has narrowed her field of work and is currently the Technical Manager at Ace Completions, working on chemical formulations, field trials, problem solving, and troubleshooting technical issues.
Kate began coming to Oilfield Connections meetings in the Fall of 2019. She began as the secretary for the OC Permian Basin group, and has recently become the Chapter President.

Chapter Vice President / Secretary
Originally from the Panhandle , Tiffany came to the Permian Basin in 2017 to follow her career in the oil and gas industry. Her main focus has been to establish and grow business relationships while adding occupancy to remote lodges from all sectors of oil and gas . While working in the Permian , she has spent her career in the workforce housing industry from rental sales to leading all things modular .
Tiffany has been a member of OCI since January 2020 but recently became Vice-President for the Permian Chapter .

Travis became the Treasurer for the OC Permian Basin Chapter in July of 2020. He is the General Manager for Mulholland Energy Services in Midland, TX. As a former paramedic, Travis' safety and risk mitigation knowledge have translated well into his second career in oil and gas and there is no other industry he would rather be a part of.
A Permian Basin native, Travis strongly believes in strengthening networking relationships in the area. Committed to lifetime learning, he holds an MBA from Texas Tech University and is currently enrolled in a post-graduate finance program at Johns Hopkins University.

Dalton graduated from Louisiana State University in 2017 with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering and a minor in Geology. Growing up primarily in Houston, he moved out to the Permian Basin directly following graduation. He completed his M.S. in Natural Gas Engineering and Management from the University of Oklahoma in 2020.
He began his career working for a large artificial lift company, completing a training program in artificial lift services focusing on electrical submersible pumps. He has focused on sales and connection building throughout the Bakken, DJ, and Permian basins the past few years and leading into his current role at Veretek.
Dalton attended Oilfield Connection meetings since 2019. He serves as the Event Chair for both the OC Permian Basin chapter, as well as the Society of Petroleum Engineers Young Professionals.
Heath is a Midland native that graduated from Robert E Lee High School then graduated from Texas Tech University with a BS in Agricultural Economics. Heath moved back to Midland in 2018 and began his oil and gas career working for Cudd Energy Services as a salesman. He now works for Big Country Equipment, always striving for excellent customer service, product knowledge and growing his business relationships throughout the entire country. Heath is also very involved with other non-profit groups such as Ducks Unlimited, being the president of the Texas Tech chapter for two years, and the Texas Youth Hunting Program.
Originally from the Houston area, Derrick relocated to the Permian Basin in 2015, starting his career in the oil and gas industry. His main focus over the past 5 years has been to establish and grow business relationships from all sectors of oil and gas. While working in the Permian, he has spent most of his career in the equipment industry, starting with rentals and sales, to now providing maintenance and repair services.
Derrick has been a member of OCI since November of 2019 but recently became co-chair over memberships for the Permian Basin Chapter.
Kevin Stoute, Business Manager for Tanner Services, LLC
Kevin graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a BS in Industrial Enginering. Originally a Louisiana native, Kevin relocated to the Permian Basin in early 2019. He began his oil & gas career working offshore in the GOM, then eventually working contract for one of the largest E&P’s in the world. Throughout the past few years and leading into his current role at Tanner Services—his focus has been on sales, leadership, business management and helping people that want to begin a career in energy.
Kevin began coming to OC meetings in the fall of 2019 and is now part of the Permian Basin Chapter leadership team as sponsorship co-chair.
"Knowledgeable and a well-rounded, Sid was born and raised in Andrews, TX. He went on to obtain his BBA in Management from The University of Texas of the Permian Basin in December 2016. Not too long after, he obtained his Master's in Business Administration from the same university in May 2018, relocating to Midland, TX shortly after.
With a proven track record in management, sales, and naturally occurring radioactive material (NORM), he has accrued 4 years of NORM, and 2 years of drilling sales experience. He has been a part of OCI since the summer of 2020."

Veterans Affairs Officer
Born and raised in South Carolina, Mark served 4 years honorably in the United States Marine Corps. As a crew chief in charge of route clearance Mark developed the ability to handle combat logistics to ensure safe travel of convoys throughout multiple countries in the Middle East. He served two combat tours before returning to the Carolinas and transitioning into civilian life.
Having a love for high intensity situations, Mark pursued the offshore oil and gas business where he started working as a Deepwater Drilling Fluids Engineer after graduating from DFE Tech in Tyler Texas.
After working for Baker Hughes for 2 years offshore, Mark relocated to the oilfields of West Texas at which time he started consulting as a Drilling Fluids Engineer and started a consulting firm, Defender Contracting LLC.
After the economic downturn in 2015 Mark moved to Fort Worth Texas and started an investment real estate company that continues to operate today.
Pursuing his love of the oil and gas business and combing experience gained from combat logistics, Mark restructured Defender Contracting to be an Oilfield Service company that is operating today. He specializes in Chemical, Mud, Water, and Equipment transport as well as remediation of hydrocarbon, salt, and chemical spills. Defender Contracting is a veteran owned and operated company that incentivizes veterans to work in the oil industry.
A standing member of the VFW and American Legion, Mark focuses on helping those that served this great nation. His passions outside of business involve anything in the great outdoors- especially spending time on the coast.
