John came to San Angelo by way of attending Angelo State University majoring in Agriculture. He then left starting his career in the agricultural industry. In which time he met his bride to be. They made their home and started their family in the Bryan/College Station outskirts where he became involved in the Oil and Gas industry. He moved his family back to San Angelo in 2013 to further his career. Also, to spend precious time with five generations of family calling the Concho Valley home.
He now has over 20 years experience in many different phases, capacities and disciplines of the Oil and Gas industry. However, these are not his greatest accomplishments. He serves God across the globe, being an active member in his church family, being a husband to his loving wife, and being a father of amazing daughters.
Chapter Vice President
Sawyer moved to San Angelo in 2010 from Cotton Center, TX to attend Angelo State University. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2014 Sawyer, knew his degree wasn’t his dream career path. Sales, Business and Leadership was his strong-suit. So, Sawyer took a position as a Field Service Technician at a small oilfield equipment rental firm and was quickly promoted to running the Sales and Operations of the West Texas division. After forming a business relationship together, in 2017 he took his current position with H&S Rental & Services as a Sales Manager and helped grow the company to a thriving business today. In 2021, Sawyer became a founding member of the OCI San Angelo Chapter as Vice President.
