POSITION TITLE: Business Development Manager
COMPENSATION: Salary DOE + bonus
SUMMARY: The Business Development Manager will be driven and ambitious, will travel through the gulf coast growing the business by bringing the capabilities of the company to the heavy industrial market. Projects within the industrial market include but are not limited to turnarounds, structural concrete repair, and strengthening exisiting accounts while creating new business. You will collaborate with our Technologies and Operations teams to tackle the toughest construction challenges and meet the needs of our valued customers.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Developing, maintaining, and expanding business relationships
•Participating in sales meetings, sales calls, seminar facilitation, trade shows, and the development of other sales strategies and initiatives
•Proactively managing accounts and expanding the Company's business relationship with them
•Meeting or exceeding annual sales goals set forth by management
•Creating, presenting, or responding to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
10+ years of sales experience building relationships and expanding a client base in the industrial market selling specialty construction services or products/services to the heavy industrial market, capital projects/concrete services.
Strong knowledge of the Gulf Coast Region (refineries, hydrocarbon processing, engineers, etc…)
Track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales goals/quotas
Solid understanding of sales process with the ability to explain that process from identification of opportunity through close of sale
Local travel 50% of the time
